The amazing pieces of For Love and Lemons latest holiday line, the hands and eye of a capable stylist and photographer gave birth to yet another amazing editorial / lookbook! I love the prints and patterns, the strong make up, the bleached eyebrows and the luxurious, but oh-so-bohemian pieces! Breathtaking!
As you might have notices (haha) I'm totally fallen for the bohemian / hippie style and those are the two words I am confident in using when describing my style. I've found my style, but my personality there as well! Just because I use those two words together a lot, I tought I could give you some tips of how you can use accessories to make your outfit look more bohemian or hippie!
The key words (all according to me) are: fringe, feathers, beads, turquoise; braids, suede and brown! Some might even say gold, but I like to mix there and think that even silver, black and studs can be bohemian when styled "properly"! Bright colours and pattern like paisley, tye-dye and even Native American prints are a part of the signature style!
You don't necesserily have to wear flares, bell-armed shirts and crazy patterned tops if you don't want to, but a feather necklace or earrings, a fringe bag, a brown braided bag and a big, floppy hat would do the trick!
As you all know for sure, the "small" details as the accessories are the one that make or breake the outfit!
I was completely blown away when I saw these photos on my cousin Nina's Facebook Timeline! This is part of the work that she and her friend Magdalena did in their spare time this summer! They are both responsible for the styling and the make-up...but then the poses, the enviroment and the photo quality (which got lost while uploading here...sorry for that) are fantastic...at first I didn't even recognize my own cousin! =) Love the juxtapostion of the soft dress, the stong colour of the wedge and the "not-so-very-pretty" background! A winning composition if you ask me!
Anyways...I just wanted to share these couple of photos with you guys and I hope you like them as much as I do! =)
P.S. It's really a shame that the photos are become in such a bad quality after I've uploaded them here, but there was nothing I can do about it sorry!
This is one of the first a/w lookbooks that Spelldesigns released and I'm completely fallen for it! I love absolutely everything the amazingly creative Australian duo of sister make! Too bad I can't always afford most of the pieces because of my student economy, but you can always dream can't you ? Well, one of my dreams actually came true!
From the first time I saw that pheasant feather inspired patterned skirt I wanted to have it, and a week ago I receive the best e-mail ever! Namely, I've won it from the August giveaway the girls were having on their blog! What a great birthday present, don't you agree ?!? Well, the skirt is on its way to me now and I can't wait until it arrives! =)
One thing I love about fall/winter is all the cozy sweaters and cardigans we get to wear and layer with lace dresses, sheer shirts and tops! This year I believe strongly in cable knits (as always) in white, beige, moustard yellow and burgundy! Another thing that is strongly coming this season is the fringe knits and we've got Isabel Marant to thank for that! I really want a knitted, fringe sweater and that one from BikBok is a really good option! The last, but not the least are the patterned ones! Oh yes! Love that one from Cubus, since I love native prints, but geometric ones, with a great mix of colours work as well!
I'm inlove with this! Free People always deliver and never, ever fail! Their catalogues, editorials, lookbooks are such an inspiration and I wish I owned all their clothes! Love this fall inspiration! How about you ?!?
In love! This is how I want my fall to look when it comes to clothing! The perfect ways to layer chunky knits and sheer, chiffon skirts/dresses! Wearing long sleeved, crochet, mini dresses paired with layers of thiny, chain necklaces! And, always a piar of boots! Ah, lovely, isn't it ?!?
Yes please to all of the outfits above! Oh-My-God! This is complete perfection! The jacket on the first picture is to-die-for, I've always wanted a long, crochet dress, the bell bottoms are amazing and I am goind bananas over the fringe kimonos!
Love this look book! The location, the summery, easy-breezy feel which gives the jewelry the perfect lift....and tje jewelry....to.die.for! Love ManiaMania's jewelry! =)
Clicked this dress home from Romwe.com the other day after falling hopelessly inlove with the lace combined with the fringe and bell arms! Just think how perfect it will be paired with feather jewlery, fringe bag and a pair of suede boots! Hope it will be waiting for me at home when I come back!
Love this look book! The edgy, dark feel in the middle of a desert wouldn't fell completed withoud western inspired details and wild horses! Pure awesomness! =)
This makes me crave after patterned and crochet bell bottoms, craze paisley patterned shirt mixed with another crazy pattern on a pair of shorts! Even more for backless cochet tops and pattenred dresses!
Here it is! Another masterpiece! The collection, by itself, is pure awesomness and then all this put together by the most awesome stylist ever and shot by an amazing photographer! I love this lookbook and wouldn't mind having all these pieces in my closet now! =)

Two bandits jewelry look book
The amazing due has done it again! The jewelry is abso.fu**ing-lutley amazing! Love all the turquoise with the silver, the statement necklaces and cuffs/bracelets! The styling is spot on! The hat, the belts, the shorts...all to die for! And I love the background and the props! What do you think babes ?
P.S.
I have two more lookbooks to show you, that are rocking hot, also done by these two amazing chicas! So stay tuned! =)
I've gone from not wanting skirts at all...to skirts being all I think of lately! =) Especially, printed ones! They are so easy to style and are one of those pieces that are easily transformed from casual to chic!
H&M has filled in their web-shop with a lot of news. The key words are pattern and sequins!!! I'm extremely drawn to that boycon, black.white, patterned dress...What do you think...anything you like ?!?
Autumn hasn't arrived only at Laredoute.se, but at Ellos.se as well. So many eye-candy that it will be hard to resist not clicking some of it home =) Love all the etnic prints and Isabel Marant inspired pieces!
Oh hot summer! This really is easy, breezy, beautiful!
Love all the details, the flowy materials, the long lace, the big floppy hats...it's all so perfect. Another thing I got stuck to is the contrast of Elena Lomkova's pale, smooth skin to the ruff shoreline on the beach!
Those of you who follow my blog already know that I have a soft spot in my heart for headbands...of any kind! I've had that since I was a little girl, loved wearing them at home, but never dared to go outside with a headband on! That changed the older I got...the older, the bolder =). I love wearing a headband, it's a real statement piece and makes an outfit/person stand out! Admit it, you always give a little extra blink to a person wearing a headpiece, or even a hat! I've started up my "collection" quite well, but I think I need more =)))
