Step Into My Style...

~ RAID MY CLOSET ~

Category: Tips&Fix

These outfits are styled with pieces that you can find on my "Raid My Closet" - site, called shopivannascloset.blogg.se. There are more outfits like these and more pieces that I've never worn, just tried or worn once being sold there. There of course some pieces that are older or have been bought second hand.
The side is written in Swedish and the prises are in Swedish Kronor, but don't hesitate to contact me ([email protected]) if you are interested in a piece or two, but don't live in Sweden. I'm sure we will find a way to figure things out ;)
So, what are you waiting for ? ;) Check it out ---> here

MOJAGARDEROBA.MK

Category: Tips&Fix

Recently, I found out about a new fashion site in Macedonia, called Mojagarderoba.mk. The name of the site means "My wardrobe" and it is the first online place where you can buy and sell your used clothes and accessories!
This is amazing since it is a great way to show care for the envitoment and lower the textile waste in the world. Recycling clothes and buying second hand and vintage is the best way of doing it!
I encourage all my Macedonian readers to take a look at the page and try to create an account, or take a look at what everyone is selling at the moment! You might earn some cash to buy that shirt you wanted a while, or you might find the tee you wanted which was sold out in store!
Don't forget to check out Mojagarderoba's blog as well, where you can read a lot about the latest trends, DIY's, interviews with fashion designers, health and beaty tips and lot more!

---> BLOG TALK <---

Category: Tips&Fix

Recently I've received questions about where I get my inspiration from and what my favorite blogs are.
~This time I've chosen three of my favorite blogs to share with you! These are the blogs that I follow - read them every day, their blogs, as well as their Instagram and Facebook.
These three are a huge inspiration source of mine and I hope that they can inspire you too!

~What blogs do you read? Share your favorites! =)

Spell and the Gypsy collective, or Spell Designs is an Australian (Byron Bay) based label behind which stand Spelly and Lizzy, two amazing free spirits and sisters!
I remember when I first discovered Spell&TheGypsy Collective... It was like I was diving in in a vast sea of endless inspiration! Image after image, the blog is a joy to browse through... I always wait for the new Look Book posts impatiently, since these girls always deliver! Whenever I go through these posts I do them with a lots of "Ah"-s and "Oh"-s and "Oooo"-s.
I love being able to look behind my favorite label, see the creativity in action, what inspires the sisters to create such amazing pieces and who they are as people!
~Don't miss out, give them a visit and fall inlove!

Found Leana on Instagram last fall! She got me hooked immediately with her mermaid style! Based in Australia, she fills her Instagram with lovley and oh-so-inspirational "flat-layouts" of her outfits! Cream, crochet and shells (as well as sunflowers ;) are the key-words I could use to describe her style!
In the beginning of this year, Leana created a blog, a joy for all of us, her Instagram-followers! There she updates with her outfits, flat layouts and inspirational photos!
~If there is a secret mermaid hidden inside of you, or you just like shells, croshet and cream, visit her blog and get hooked you as well! =)

Gypsy Lovin Light is a Australian based gypsy soul. I discovered Helen thorugh Instagram as well. She turned into a favorite and a true inspiration in no time. Every post of hers has a story behind it, told to us through Helen's outfits all through her jewellery, accessories and the amazing locationsshe shoots her looks at!
Then, there are the amazingly spiritual and filled with light and love - texts that she writes, that really make you stop and think - and I love that!

TIP: PATTERNED SWEATERS

Category: Tips&Fix

I have a weak spot for printed sweaters when winter comes and these two are no exception! Found these knitted sweaters at H&M and fell for these two versions. Love the pattern on the both as well as the mix of colour, but if I'd have to choose I'll go for the left one. What do you think sweeties?!? Which one is your favourite ?!?

DIY: SHELL CANDLES

Category: Tips&Fix

Some time ago me and the b'friend found some shells which we liked a lot but we had no idea what we would do with them yet. Couple of weeks ago I got the idea that we could make candles with the shells and we had that little project done this weekend! I was careful to take photos so I could make a "DIY" - tip for you guys, so here is what we used if you ever wnat to do-it-yourself! =)
Shells, the deep side prefferably so that you could fill the depth in with wax.

Old candles. You can also buy wax if you want, but we thought we could use our old candles in stead. You put the candles (wax) in a pot and than put a pot with water underneath. The wax will melt under the steam that is released when the water boils. The wax will become liquid and then you'll know that it's time to pour it in the shells!

Candle wicks. I found these at Panduro. The ones with the metal piece are to be preffered since we are not making a long candle, they'll sit better and are much shorter.

Hot glue the candle wicks to the shells to ensure they will sit where you want them to and that they don't start moving later when you pour the hot wax.

When the wax has melted pour it directly into the shell. If you want the candles to be ready and to be cooled quickly put them in the fridge, otherwise let them stay out for a while. It took less than an hour for these to cool since there wasn't much wax in the shell and the cooling surface was wide.
If you want you can put scented oil in the wax while it's been melted, we didn't use any since the candles we melted were already scented.
The candles are ready to be lit now and below you see photos of how they look! Tell me what you think !!! =)

They fit perfectly with the rest of our interior, don't you think ?!?

DIY: BONE AND TURQUOISE BRACELET

Category: Tips&Fix

Here is another bracelet I did the other day! This time I mixed in some turquoise beads as well...I really like it, what do you think ?!?

DIY: BEADED BONE NECKLACE

Category: Tips&Fix

This is where most of the bone beads that I bought at Panduro went this weekend while I was "beading" with the b'friend! A long, prayer necklace which is perfect for layering with other necklaces, but has the same effect when worn alone! The great thing is that it is made in a way that it could be worn as a double layer, shorter necklace! I love it!
What do you think sweeties ?!?

DIY: FEATHER AND BONE EARRING

Category: Tips&Fix

I went to Panduro the other they and bought some more pearls, this time wooden ones, some made of bones and some feathers. After so many beaded bracelets and necklaces I decided to try and make an earring instead and came up with this! I like it very, very much, and I don't plan on makinf another one, since I think that this one will look great on for itself!
What do you think babes ?!?

RAID MY CLOSET

Category: Tips&Fix

You haven't forgotten that I'm selling some pieces from my wardrobe?!? A lot of tops, pants, accessories and shoes are to be found at shopivannascloset.blogg.se! Most of them are as good as new, since I've probably worn them couple of times or never - all for a nice price! I've got some more that I need to put up there, but most of it is already uploaded so you can go and raid my closet here (<--- click!)

HANDMADE NECKLACE

Category: Tips&Fix

You saw some of my handmade jewelry here, but I tought I'll give you a closer look to this beaded necklace that I love so much! It is actually inspired by a necklace I saw at spelldesigns.com (here), but when I wanted to order, it was already sold out. When I received the beads couple of weeks ago, and when I saw the wooden ones, I decided that I can make one (a smilar one) myself! The tassel is also handmade, with knitting threads and I used a turquoise bead and cross instead of  a turquoise stone!
I think it turned out pretty good and I like it so much I'm afraid I will use it too much! What do you think sweeties ?!?

Then let's talk about the lovely, embelished cushions (which, btw. cost half the price cushions like that cost in other stores!).
The great thing about Karmastyle is that they sell the most amazing bags with lovely decorations which are perfect for us with a hippie/bohemian style and for all of us who carry a bunch of stuff everyday!!! You can also find a lot of pretty jewelry and clothes!

CREATE YOUR OWN BAG(S)

My small bohemian collection =) I'm going after what I like, what I'm inspired at the moment and what I'd like to have in my closet now. HAIR CARE

Category: Tips&Fix

I often get asked about my hair colour, which dye I'm using and how I take care of my hair.
The truth is - I don't do very much. I use the Schwarzkopf Briliance hair dye in "Cashmere Red". They stopped producing them for a while and I couldn't find the right colour, until I went to Macedonia. So the last year or so I've been using "Cahmere Red" from Schwarzkopf, but form another line of their dyes, which I had bought in Macedonia.
I wash my hair two-to-three-times a week and use the Schwarzkopf "Ultimate Repair" shampoo and conditioner. These don't only repair your hair, but make it silky and flowy as well, which I love. After washing my hair I spray two-to-three drops of Schwarzkopf's Daily hair elixir, which helps repair your broken hair tips and softens the hair. You can use the elixir before washing your hair, but the effect is greater and faster when applied on wet, towel-dreid hair.
I've never used a shampoo that is supposed to keep the red pigment longer, since I'm very satisfied with the dye I'm using. The colour and its intensity lasts very long and if it weren't for the new hair growing I wouldn't need to dye my hair once or twice a month. The dye is of high quality and I strongly recommend it to all of you who want to use it! =)
Hope this answered most of you questions!

Category: Tips&Fix

Keeping on the same track! Newness at Gina Tricot...besides all this, you can also find tank tops, with cool prints and patterns. The best thing with them, the deep back and the price (100 SEK).
I want them all! Imagina how perfect they'll be paired with round shades, cropped denim shorts and boots! =) What do you think ?!?
