"Fashion is not something that exists in dresses only. Fashion is in the sky, in the street...Fashion has to do with ideas, the way we live, what is happening."
~ Coco Chanel
Fringe and feathers, crystals and sunflowers, dreamcatchers, paisley print bell-bottoms and cowboy boots. Overload of jewellery...you can never have enough necklaces and rings, and lately I've become obsessed with handpieces as well. Just pile it on - but do it with flavor!
This wish-outfit-flat-layout couldn't be more me! It has all the elements that describe who I am and my style. Boho-chic, with hippie vibes, some gypsy spirit and (always) rock'n roll!
I'm going bananas over my new, handmade (with copper-wire), upper-arm cuff. When I saw an inspirational picture posted on Kara Art's Facebook page, of a bracelet similar to the one above, I knew I had to have something like that! After contacting Ivona, the designer and artist herself, I had my new bracelet within the next 24 hours! How about that ?!? It's much more impressive in real life, since you get to see all the work that has gone in all the small details!
Take a look at what she has to offer, you might find something you like!
I realised that I haven't shown you any photos from our spontaneous trip to the lake city - Ohrid! We had amazing four days there, went to small, unknown beaches, outside town, swam a lot and just had a blast! There is no way you can go wrong when roadtrippin' with the best people! A roadtrip to remember!

Meet my new favorite pair of pants. Pailsey printed flares which I got custom made at a store in Kumanovo, called Handmade Eden. On their page I saw a pair of leggings in this material and since I love the pattern, I contacted them immediately to ask them if they had more fabric left to make me a pair of bell-bottoms! And here they are! Couldn't be more satisfied!
The past week through Instagram, which started in Macedonia...I celebrated my birthday, had a great time at our summer house, near the river. Said our good-byes and took the plane back to Sweden!
I miss everybody and everything... we've had unforgettable two months there and want back right now! =)
Recently, I found out about a new fashion site in Macedonia, called Mojagarderoba.mk. The name of the site means "My wardrobe" and it is the first online place where you can buy and sell your used clothes and accessories!
This is amazing since it is a great way to show care for the envitoment and lower the textile waste in the world. Recycling clothes and buying second hand and vintage is the best way of doing it!
I encourage all my Macedonian readers to take a look at the page and try to create an account, or take a look at what everyone is selling at the moment! You might earn some cash to buy that shirt you wanted a while, or you might find the tee you wanted which was sold out in store!
Don't forget to check out Mojagarderoba's blog as well, where you can read a lot about the latest trends, DIY's, interviews with fashion designers, health and beaty tips and lot more!
Found this amazing piece of jewellery while in Bansko, Bulgaria. Love the big, chunky turquoise stones...such a great statement piece which will deffinitely work well with layers of other necklaces!
Crochet is my favorite during summer, gives the right bohemian-chic vibe to an outfit...found this lovely top at a shop here in Kumanovo called Legend. What do you think ?!?
Last week through my Instagram lens...found my favorite, coffee-flavored caramels, hanged out with awesome people and ended up on a road trip to Ohrid. We had a great time there, visited different beaches, swam in the lake and had the best time ever! Love it when we do spontaneous road trips...these were unforgettable four days spent with great people!
I found these golden shades at a random shop (I don't remember the name), here in Kumanovo and fell for them immediately. Love the retro, 70's feel they have! The cuff is new as well, got it at a shop called Legend...it has a lovely, leaf pattern and it's a perfect jewellery to accessorize your summer - bohemian look with! Goes well with tanned skin! ;)
Something I really treasure in my closet is my small, byt growing collection of kimonos. Kimono is such a great piece and I love them so much, especially since I can wear them as an accessorie. Whenever you feel that your outfit is boring, but you are not in the mood for piling up the jewellery, go for the kimono! It always gives thath extra feminine touch as well as the needed flow and movement of the outfit!
I trongly recommend investing in a couple of kimonos! Crocheted, flower printed or with fringe...a kimono will always do the trick! ;)
As a pure jewellery and accessories fan, I've noticed that I like experimenting on how I wear my jewellery and I always discover fun ways to do it! This summer I went from being all about statement pieces, to layering thin, chain necklaces with various pendants. It's usually two or three with different lenghts so that they make a good gradation. A great tip for wearing your necklaces if you are going for that cool and casual, boho-chic feel.
These three above are relatively new and my favorite necklaces when it comes to layering. The one on the far left is an old sterling silver necklace, but the Onyx, arrow head pendant, that I found in my favorit shop,The Rainbow is new! The necklace with the green crystal is from JC (a present) and the third one is from Thevintage-a.com, which I won on a give away!
What do you think babes? How do you wear your necklaces, are you a statement necklace kind a gal, or you like layering them?
Here are a bunch of photos from Bansko. All the way from up in the mountains, the lovely nature there, the ice-cold river flowing through rocks from the mountains, all the way down to the village :)
It's been a long time I've been in such wild nature where you can actually feel the power of the mountains that surround you. It's an extraordinary feel, it makes you feel elevated.
Since Bansko is a winter resort, it's much different to visit during the summer, but we actually enjoyed ourselves. We did a trip to the ski-paths, which look completely different now, filled with grass and wild flowers insead of snow :) We even took the ski-lift down to the village and had an awesome view while up there!
Then there is the village, filled with small houses that have preserved the "old" look that gives a feeling of cosiness, with water taps on every corner, with fresh and cold water directly from the mountain springs.
This is the first of a series of outfits that we captured in the beautiful nature of Bansko, Bulgaria. We spent amazing five days there, the village is very small with old, but reservated houses, lots of fancy hotels and a river going through the village all the way from up in the mountains.
Stay tuned for more outfit photos and snaps from Bansko! :)
Imagine my happines when I found this vintage, leather, Levi's belt! At first, it was the badges with the different symbols that cought my eye, then I saw it was Levi's and it was only 6 Euro!
I'm a belt-nerd so I am really happy that I can add this one to my growing collection!

July has been the best so far! Time spent with close ones, good friends, drinks, music and chatting until the dawn! Changed my hair-color...went "back to basics", spent unforgettable seven days in Greece and that's only the beginning! As you read this I'm on my way to Bulgaria for the weekend, I've yet again prepared some posts for you guys, so don't forget to check in! :)
