Meet my long, searched for love. The love of my life! =) I've wanted a brown, suede, fringe vest for an eternety now....but it seemed impossible to find one! But, then, this one appeared! =)
Love the long fringe, the soft suede and the decorative, antique gold studs! =)
I've always loved tribal prints and patterns, together with Native American, Navajo, Aztec prints! You have no idea how happy I am that this year I'm offered various choices from various stores, brands and designers!
Suits best for you with the hippe/Native American inspired style! But why not match it (top/bottom) with a toned down colour, like black or white, for a more casual chic city look!
Just some photos that inspire me a lot these days!!! So, this can be this weeks moodboard! I feel that I've always been inspired from the Native American culture, their prints,songs,arts...And that I love silver jewelry with turqoise stones! I want friendship bracelets on my wrist, pastels on my body, round shades and a roadtrip!!!
!I just really need the rain to go away and the temperature to rise!!!! =)
I've seen it on so many street-style blogs, during the fashion weeks and tought it was very cool! That is why I decided to try it and it turned out pretty awesome! Don't you think ?!?
The moment I saw this feather headband from the H&M Fashion Against collection, I knew I had to have it!!! =) And so, a month later, here it is....I got it together with a dress from the same collection. I'm actually really satisfied, since I managed to get those two pieces that I wanted from the beginning! This headpiece being one of them!
Today's details colour palette goes in all natural tones!!! Brown, antoque gold, cream. The perfect addition to the jewelry is the crystal, the feathers, the fringe and blue stones!
I tought I wil be able to take some photos of the event yesterday, but nope! This what you get is a small number of photos that I managed to take yesterday with instagram! It was so crowded, that most of the time I couldn't see where my legs are! On the photos you can see some of my shopping, the third row of the queue, the DJ and the crowd ;) and the drinks and food! =)
Finally home! Had a great evening! Ended up sponaneously shopping a pair of boots and a fringe vest, but I also got what I wanted from FAA at H&M! There were a lot of people there and it was extremely crowded, so we didn't stay the whole time!
You'll get some pictures from there tomorrow! Now...it's chilling time! =)
So...now it's time to head out, for a cup of coffee before it's time to go to the H&M FAA event! I's super excited! Here is a little peak of what I'm wearing tonight, the rest, you'll get when I'm back!
Oh, and if you want to know what is going on there, I'll be updaing live via Instagram...find me there @ivannascloset! =)
This evening there will be an event in H&M's store in Kompassen, here in Gothenburg! There will be DJ's, snacks, drinks and we will be able to see and buy the Fashion Against Aids before it is officially released!
I am really looking forward to it, since I've been waiting for the 26th of Aprils since the day I saw how the collection looks like! I want to own every single piece, heh, but we'll se what I'll come home with...
Ooooh....btw...did you now that if you upload a picture of yourself, kissing someone you care about, at H&M's facebook fan page (here)...H&M will donate $1 for AIDS prevention! So, what are you waiting for ?!?
Now, when spring has finally arrived and nature has come to life...I find places near where I live which just scream "photo shoot". You could easily just fit your outfit according to the place to shoot! Amazing and I love it! =) Prepaire for a lot of different "locations" for today's outfit from now on! =)
Today you get a mixture of silver jewelry with black and blue stones and my absolute favourite bracelets. Crochet, mixed with lacy fringe and black denim! All that shot at our little heaven, behind the houses where we live ;)
Absolutely amazing! Blue denim, whites and browns!!! H&M describes how I want to look like this summer! Editorial filled with inspiration, don't you agree ?!?
Today's details are a mix of silver jewelry, wooden bracelets, black, leather belt and boots and a furry bag! This is all completed with a paisley pattern and blue denim! =) The cherry on the top are my extremely playfull nails, which I, on purpose, did in two different colours! What do you think ?!?
Stay tuned for the whole outfit, which will come up later, as usual!!!
P.S. Don't forget to enter my silver give away....it ends this Sunday! Use the chance to update your spring accessories! =) Enter here ---> click!
Found this lovely shell-necklace while I was on a second hand round with my mom last weekend! It was a very lucky day for us, since we went home, both very happy with our various, unique, cheap purchases! That doesn't happen really often ;)
One of my finds, which will get a close up, you've already seen...Can you guess which ?!?
Lace is a material that is always modern and in style. The best thing with it is that laelty, you can find any piece of clothing, that is not underwear =), in lace. To top it off, you can find pieces in lace in any colour that you can imagine!
I love lace! From dreeses, to tees, to shirts and shorts! It's a material for every season and occassion and it's very easily layered! =) When it comes to colours, though, I'd rather go for black or white =)
Found these at Hilda's blog yesterday! I've never craved a pair of boots, with summer around the corner, like this!!! They are in real leather and are to be found in Bik Bok.
Love the short variation of the cowboy boot and the steel piece by the toes and the heels is just perfect!

Love Coachella! The music, the vibe, the spirit...and don't get me started on the fashion! It's a place where you will see personal style in the main definition! Love checking in at blogs, just to see in the photos! My eyes fill with insiration because this is what I get excited about and what gets me going! I could go looking like this through out the year if it weren't the snow! =) Wish I could experience Coachella soon! =)))
I am in love! Found this dress while browsing through Nelly.com's dress selection. You know how I feel about crochet and fringe, so this combination just blew me! =) The styling is also perfect, there's no doubt that this could be the perfect summer dress, for me! =))) Too bad my wallet screamed NO when I saw the price! ;)
But, one can always dream and search for a cheaper version, right ?!?
Remember this skirt ?!? Well, it arrived a week ago, but the weather hasn't really been on my side, so I couldn't wear it! At least, not as I want to ;) Hopefully that will change soon ;) Until then, here is a IRL photo of it!
I loooove it! The pattern and the various mix of colours give so many different options for styling!
Love this interpretation for festival fashion Free People have made just in time for festival seasons. Not only Coachella, which is happing now, but for various other festivals that are to come, in the summer especially!
Cropped tees, coasy pants, lace and fringe dresses and those (extremely wide) bell bottoms! All that paired with messy hair!
Just wanted to let you know that I started to use Instagram a couple of weeks ago! =))) Yes...me too! =)
You can follow me there if you want to see today's details before everyone else, what I do during the day and even some home decor inspiration, which is one of my big interests, but does not come up so frequently on the blog!
Search for Ivanna'sCloset! =) Hope we'll see eachother there! =)))
I've always been more of a silver person, but lately I've started to feel more open to ,at least, jewelry on the warmer scale, i.e. gold. I still do look subjective here and prefer wearing jewelry with an antique golden feel to it, than the shinier version, if you know what I mean =)
So, today, I'm wearing almost all my favourite antique golden jewelry! =)
Got these tees at GinaTricot a while now! You saw me wearing the neon-orange one here, and the Navajo printed one here! Love the prints!!! I've wanted a bull-skull with feather on a tee for centuries!
They are cropped and a bit oversized, and are in the perfect material for hot summer days!
For best result pair them with boots, cropped denim shorts, round shades and messy hair!
Today's details are a mixture of antique gold rings, wooden bracelets and an African inspired necklace! This mixed with a cream knitted vest, fringe boots and a brown bag.
This is what completes my outfit today! A white belt, paired together with a crochet cardigan, cream crochet bag and fringe boots. The colorful bracelets are a strong addition of colour mixed with silver necklace and rings! =)
I never dared to mix silver and gold before. It was a huge " no no" for me. It's almost half a year ago I started to like the mix of the colours and started wearing mixed jewelry! =)
So, today, I'm wearing, mostly silver, mixed with a touch of gold here and there =)))
All my life, I've known about crochet pieces as "livingroom table decoration", but never as a clothing piece. Discovered it sometime last year and completely fell for it! I love crochet! From tops, tees, cardigans and dresses to shorts, hats, bags and even shoes! =) It's my absolute favourite material and suits my style perfectly!
Though crochet screams summer, I try to involve it even in my fall/winter outfits, as some of you might have noticed!
In the collage you can see some pieces that I really wouldn't mind having in my closet! =)
What do you think ?!? Is crochet yey or ney for you ?!?
Sometimes it's just enough to open the closet and I already know what I want to wear, but sometimes, it feels like I just have a closet filled with nothing at all! That is when I surf in at lookbook.nu, go in in the "hot" section and just scroll down.
I always seem to find some outfit (or more) that inspires me...and my problesm are all solved! ^^
As you see, the long needed change of the design and layout has finally dawned upon Ivanna's Closet! The only thing I need to fix right now, to be completely satisfied with the looks, is the size of the photos....you know...the bigger the better. So, if any of you know how to do it...please share! =)
I put the header together yesterday (found the picture of the headpiece from a tumblr blog and don't have a source to it unfortunately), but I downloaded the finished design from designadinblogg.se. I couldn't have done it otherwise! =)))
I recieved two packages yesterday and today with so many great pieces and I can't wait to show you everything. Here is a sneak peek of some of them! You'll get a closer look, at everything, soon! =)
shades - Monki; top - Topshop.com; bracelets - Asos.com // Topshop.com; pants - Ellos.se; bag - Modekungen.se; heels - Nelly.com
Ah those pants! Waited for mine a week just to find out that I've ordered a wrong size. So I've sent them back now and I hope I'll get them soon. They look amazing IRL! =))
I absolutely love when lookbooks tell a story and are taken outside the studio! Ad the fact that they have a white pony in the middle of a desert...absolutely amazing! =)
Today's details all at once. This is what happens when there's no one that can take your photo and you are a perfectionist! Heh! Anyways...my favourite belt with blue stones, in combination with a feather necklace from Madlady.se and a quartz-crystal DIY necklace! The antique gold bangles are from dealextreme.com, paired here with an armour ring from H&M and a bull-skull ring from Nelly.com!
Found this bracelet, wore it here, in New Yorker while passing by there the other day. Love the mix of colours and the triangular separation between them!
When it's raining outside, my outfits are black by default and since I'm aware of this fact I always try to spicy it up a bit. This time it's a multi-coloured snake bracelet from Mi Lajki, mix of golden necklaces from H&M, Forever21.com, Chapnlle.com and presents together with a bright red, second hand belt.
What do you think ?!?
Pssst...don't forget to enter my silver give away here....it ends on Sunday! =)
This is the last thing that came in the package from Forever21.com the other day. Besides this belt and this necklace I also ordered this antique, gold, arrow head necklace. It was only 30 SEK! Love it! =)
The grey and rainy weather we're having today brought me back to these sunny days I had last year when I visited my realtives in Macedonia during Easter. I had such a great time that week!
Won't spring come to stay already ?!? I'm tired of this rain!
When you are not sure of how a certain colour will suit your style and personality, it's always good to start with the details. Buy accessories or nailpolish, which are usually cheaper than apparel and see if you would feel comfortable wearing that colour.
That is why I've bought these two from Depend in mint and lavender, I've worn them the last two weeks, and I have to say I like it. The next strp would probably be to buy a mint-green belt or even a tee...hmmm, what do you think ?!?
Tee - Monki; necklace&earrings - Nelly.com; skirt - Ginatricot; bag - Spelldesigns.com; boots - Scorett.se
This is one of the many ways I'm going to match the skirt! The print of the skirt is just amazing and the mix of colours allows the play with arious outfits! I just can't wait until I get it! =)
OMG! The moment I saw these at Planet Blue's blog a was almost hyperventilating! =) That dress screams perfection, I could live in it whole summer...the same goes for those aztec print-patched denim cutoffs.
It's no secret that I've gone crazy for bangles lately, so I won't mind finding these at one of my wrists =)))
The denim shirt is just something special, and I would gladly lie on the beach wearing this fringe bikini! =)
I wasn't 100% sure about this shirt when I ordered it. I liked the crochet details and the fact that it can have the peplum effect if I wanted to...When I recieved it, tried it and put it in an outfit...there was no doubt....I liked it and it was an obvious keeper.
It will be perfect to shredded jeansshorts, boots, round shades and a hippie inspired head-piece in summer...Don't you think ?!?
After blogging about this dress yesterday, lovely Ann-Sofie shared a great tip with me. Namely, Gina Tricot has filled in the web-shop and an aztec print skirt is to be found there now. It didn't take long until the skirt was in my shopping bag, and since I already missed a smiliar (but in black and white), I wasn't taking any chances!
Can't wait to match it with low boots, a cropped tee, round shades and a lot of jewelry! Or maybe even with a top in the same print, find it here.
I'm searching for an aztec printed dress...something like this ! This one is from missguided.co.uk and if I weren't out of my shopping budget for this month, I would have ordered it in a split second!
The print is amazing, I like the mix of colours and the model of the dress...
Some of the headbands you can find in my accessories cabinet. I love head pieces...they give that little extra to the outfit and that can mean a lot. I think that everybody needs to be more brave when it comes to using headbands...it should be used more frequently,if you as me....just as sunglasses =)
What do you think ?!? Do you wear headbands, or not ?!?
I'm obsessed with friendship bracelets! That is why my left wrist is filled with colour! Some of these you've already seen and some are new...no worries though, close up (on the bracelets only) is coming up! =)
And in case you've forgotten my give away, where you have a chance to get a whole set of silver accessories....enter it here <--- click! ^^
When the weather outside is cold and grey, like today...When you find yourself between the four walls of your home...that's when the imagionation starts to flow and you feel creative, colourful!
That's how I felt today and put together this "wish outfit"...since I deffinitely can't wait for the temperature to raise up so high so that I could be dressed like I am now...you'll see the outfit later...this is just a teaser =)
The rings and the belt are bought in Macedonia dn the bracelets are from Monki, H&M, Lindex and DIY!
My long search for a crochet cardigan is over! I found this one at ellos.se and I am absolutely in love with it. It's so soft and has great quality. Took a size bigger, since I wanted it a bit oversized and I'm not regretting it!
This is a start of a long-term relationship...I know it!
On today's menu you'll find trashed denim mixed with white crochet and taupe, fringe boots, decorated with a brown braided belt from Vila and a bag from Gekås / Ullared. All this is seasoned with golden accessories like, necklace from Nelly.com and rings from Madlady.se, H&M and Nelly.com. The wooden-beads bracelet in bright colours is from New Yorker, that's the sallad on the side =)
Two years...twenty-four months...twenty-four outfits...Can't believe that two years have passed already, time flies by so fast.
I just want to thank all of you who are reading and following my blog from the beggining, and you who are just discovering it...Hope you stick arround and that your number continues to grow!
For today's outfit, I've played around with white crochet, fringe and silver....The crochet details on the shirt are stunning and go perfectly with the crochet bag I got at Stadsmissionen couple of weeks ago. The vest is a perfect touch of western to go with my cowboy boots and the studs of the vest are enhanced by the combination of silver rings... The dreamcathcer necklace, which I made myself of bits and pieces, is the cherry on the top for a full completion of the outfit.
Love this editorial! The styling is amazing, the mix of colours and details is great and...as you know by now...I'm fascinated by the play of cowboys vs. indians!
Today's details is a clear mixture betwwen silver, turquoise and brown. I usually think brown goes best with gold, but, luckily, I found this belt at Myrorna that showed me otherwise. I absolutely love the blue stones on it and decided to match them with a pastel, lavender nailpolish (that looks like baby blue on the photos...I know) and the turquoise stones on my rocking hot, new necklace from Forever21.com
That is why I decided to keep the rings simple and silver, like the claw ring from Glitter, the multiple ring that I got as a b'day present and the asymmetric one from Tradera.
The awsome peacock cuff is from Indiska and the fringe bag is from Glitter.
Here it is...as promised...a close up of my new amazing, white coat from sheinside.com (gift). I've been on the look out for a white coat for a while now and when I saw this one, there was no doubt. Love the military inspired, double-breasted button up, the buttons on the pockets, shoulders and on the back. The white and gold combination is also prefect for spring, if you ask me.
What do you think ?!?
Pssst....don't forget that you have 20% off at sheinside.com with the code Ivana20 !!!
